Purple Palate Competition: How Purple is Your Palate?

Purple Palate is excited to announce a competition now running on our Facebook Page.

The competition asks you one simple question: How purple is your palate? Entering is simple and the prize is worth $1,000!

The Prize

The winner of Purple Palate’s Facebook competition will participate in our 1,000 in 5 challenge. In other words, they will have 5 minutes to select up to $1,000 worth of alcohol from their nearest Purple Palate store.

 

How to enter

All you need to do to enter is upload a photo of yourself with your tongue out and both thumbs up. You must also accompany the photo with an explanation – in 25 words or less – as to why you love red wine. The best photo and answer will then be chosen and that person announced as the winner.

 

The contest started on June 12, 2012 at 9am and will end on August 17, 2012 at 5pm. You must be reside in Australia and be 18 years or older to enter. No entries after the closing date will be accepted.

Fill in all your Personal Details. Country, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Date of Birth and tix the box agreeing to the official rules of the campaign and then click on the ‘Continue’ button.

Step 4.

Submission details. Enter a title for your image and tell us in 25 words or less why you love red wine. Give your image a title and a description and click on the “Choose File” button to upload the image from your computer.

Once your file is uploaded click on the “Upload” button. Congratulations you have now entered the competition.

Publish on your wall and invite your friends to enter the competition!

Other important information

Note that to enter the prize you must like our Page first, then go through the ‘Wildfire App’, which will only collect basic information off you. Also, you will need to provide some basic personal details to us to enlist yourself as an entrant.

If you win the prize, it is your responsibility to find your nearest local store and contact them beforehand to ensure they are available. You are also responsible for your own transport to and from the store. You strictly have five minutes to place a maximum of $1,000 worth of alcohol into a trolley.

The total will be tallied at the end of the five minutes. If your selection exceeds 10% more of the allocated prize value, then you will be penalised for 10% of your $1,000 prize – so choose wisely. The prize is valid until September 30, 2012.
