Sailor Jerry has a distinctive first impression of vanilla which then hoists the curtains of a three-ring circus of spices which dazzle the palate. It’s an ideal base for cocktails, or served with fresh lime and dry ginger ale. Captain Morgan is a rich golden rum from Jamaica enriched with spices, and an oaky flavour complimented with sweet sugarcane making it enjoyable with cola.

Queens Park Swizzle
Don’t let the foppish nature of the Queens Park Swizzle’s name fool you – this cocktail will delight wenches and first-mates alike at a home bar party.
2 parts Sailor Jerry
1 part lime juice
½ part simple syrup
6-8 mint leaves
2 dashes angostura bitters
Add all ingredients to a highball glass and fill with crushed ice. Stir, or swizzle, until glass is frosted, and garnish with a mint sprig and a further dash of Angostura bitters.
Tijuana might be on the other side of the North American continent from rum’s homeland in the Carribean, but it’s been visited by enough sailors to bring together two famous exports – rum and tequila!
1 part Sailor Jerry
1 part Tequila
¾ part fresh lime juice
½ part agave nectar
Shake and strain all ingredients and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with lime wheel and mint sprig.
Shark Bite recipe
1 part Captain Morgan® Original spiced rum
1 part light rum
¾ part Blue Curacao liqueur
2 parts sweet and sour mix
3 drops grenadine syrup
Fill a shaker with ice. Add the spiced rum, light rum, sour, and blue curacao. Shake the ingredients well. Strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with three drops of grenadine.
